Candlelight: Tribute to Juan Gabriel – August 29 (Tijuana)
Experience the music of Juan Gabriel in an intimate, multisensory setting at IMAC – Casa de la Cultura Tijuana. The historic venue will be illuminated with hundreds of candles, creating a magical atmosphere for fans. Tickets start at $350 pesos. Seating is assigned by arrival within each zone.

Festival del Sabor – August 30–31 (Tijuana)
Back for its second edition, the Festival del Sabor at CECUT celebrates creative cuisine with dozens of vendors offering everything from cartoon-themed ice cream to gourmet snacks, sushi, and even the viral adobada cake tacos. The family-friendly event is free, running from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

La Velocidad del Otoño – August 31 (Tijuana)
Starring Jacqueline Andere and Sergio Basáñez, this comedy play tells the story of a mother reluctant to leave her home and a son trying to convince her otherwise. Showtime is 6 p.m., and tickets are $500 pesos.

San Diego Symphony: Best of the ’90s – August 31 (San Diego)
Roll back the years with hits like “Livin’ La Vida Loca”, “Kiss From a Rose”, and “Champagne Supernova”. The San Diego Symphony performs at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $54 to $125.

Utopia Light Festival – Now through October 12 (Tijuana)
Plaza Las Américas lights up with more than 35,000 LED flowers, illuminated forest mazes, and whimsical fairytale creatures. Open Sunday through Thursday from 7–10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays until 11 p.m. Tickets are $21 for adults, with discounts for children, seniors, and military.

French Market – August 29 (San Diego)
Savor culinary delights and discover cultural treats at the French Market, hosted at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Diego from 1–6 p.m. Expect over 1,500 attendees and dozens of vendors showcasing French food, products, and souvenirs.
