USMNT to play in San Diego

Xolos fans will be able to see Joe Corona and Edgar Castillo with the USMNT.

SAN DIEGO, CA - The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) where Xolos midfielder Joe Corona and his teammate Edgar Castillo play will be playing a friendly in this very city on July 5 at the Qualcomm stadium against Guatemala.

This was informed by the US Soccer Federation as part of the USMNT preparation for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup which will begin on July 7 and run through the 28.

This game would the perfect opportunity for the San Diego fan base to see the Tijuana Xolos duo Joe Corona and Edgar Castillo who will most likely be part of the USMNT heading to the Gold Cup and could be taking part in this match in against Guatemala,

There is still no information on tickets.

The very next day at Petco Park the San Diego Clasico will be taking place between the Apertura 2012 Champions Xolos and the Clausura 2013 Champions Club America.
