The week is just about to end and many are already thinking of taking a well-deserved break from everyday life to spend some time with their favorite people. Always looking to make things easier for you, we have compiled a list with the best places to be at this weekend in Tijuana and San Diego.

1. The San Diego Greek Festival

This festival, organized by the Greek Orthodox Church, is made to showcase their heritage, culture, music, traditions, customs, and of course, their delicious cuisine, wines and imported brews. Activities for all ages will be had.



The event will be held from June 10 through 12, each day with different opening-closing times, so we suggest checking their page before each visit. Friday will be the only day when entry will be free of charge, but Saturday and Sunday after 01:00 p.m. will cost $3.




Where? At the Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92103
When? 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Cost: Free today, June 10; $3 after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday

2. The San Diego Art Fest

To celebrate the Art Fest's 30th anniversary, this edition will host over 200 artists, entertainment, food, wines and craft beer, aside from a friendly environment and activities for the whole family. Funds will be destined to support sporting activities in San Diego.




Where? Waterfront Park in San Diego.
When? 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $12 – $16 per entry.

3. El Tri and Panteón Rococó

This Saturday, the perfect mix of Panteón Rococó's ska and El Tri's dreamy melodies will meet onstage. Besides, Javier Bátiz, Almalafa and others will be there, as well.




Where? El Trompo Museum's Audiorama
When? 7:00 p.m.
Cost: $250 pesos ($13.41 USD) GA and $750 ($40.24 USD) VIP.

4. Rock N' Taco Fest III 2016

The famous Rock N' Taco Fest, organized by the Baja California Autonomous University (UABC) will bring 20 taco booths and 7 local rock bands, such as Rabbit Fever, Mountain Bridge, Radio Eterno, TORNO, Mar Portman and two mystery bands yet to be revealed.




Where? The Tijuana Cultural Center esplanade.
When? 1:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Cost: Free admittance.

5. Homemade Orchard Workshop

Orchards are a great way to foster healthy eating habits in Tijuana's populace, and the Trompo Interactive Museum will teach a "Homemade Orchard" workshop every Saturday of June, where people can learn how to grow 100% natural, pesticide free fruits and vegetables, creating an environmental conscience in the process.




Where? El Trompo's "Educa" Hall
When? 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: Admission is $3.64 USD.

6. The Asian Festival at the San Diego County Fair

The San Diego County Fair is making waves among California locals and Tijuana's population as well, and will remain open all month long. Plus, it will host the second Asian Festival, where visitors will be able to enjoy music, dance, martial arts, cultural plays and, of course, delicious food.



Where? Del Mar Fairgrounds, San Diego



When? 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.



Cost: $16 and $9 USD (On top of general admission Fair ticket)
