TIJUANA - Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente will host Southern California side LA Galaxy at the Estadio Caliente on Tuesday night in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) quarterfinals. The visiting side won the first leg 1-0 last Wednesday night at the StubHub Center in Los Angeles.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday March 18th at 7:00pm local pacific time from the Estadio Caliente in Tijuana, BC. The match will be televised live in the U.S. on Fox Sports 2 in English as well as Galavision in Spanish.

The Xolos rested most of their big names stars in this past weekend's 2-1 loss to Cruz Azul in Mexico City in order to be prepared and fresh for this international matchup. Players like Javier Gandolfi, Dario Benedetto, Cristian Pellerano, Juan Carlos Nuñez, Joe Corona, Fernando Arce, and Fidel Martinez all missed the match against the Liga MX league leaders.

While manager Cesar Farias rested his key players during the weekend for this encounter, LA Galaxy will be slightly fresher. The Souther California club were able to postpone their MLS league match and fully concentrate on the return match.

Club Tijuana will feel they have strong possibilities of advancing since this series is going to be decided in their home ground where they are undefeated in 7 official international matches; 5 Copa Libertadores and 2 CCL group stage matches.

While the Xoloitzcuintles are down on the score coming into the match and will need to look for the opposing team's goal right away; it will be important for them to be very careful defensively. One "away goal' from the LA Galaxy forces the home side to be in need of three goals to overcome the deficit.

As it stands right now, Xolos need a 1-0 win to extend the game into overtime and eventually penalties. Or any win by two goals or more to win the series.
