Tecate Had Violence Network Workshop

Tecate's INMUJER, developed the workshop in La Rumorosa area

TECATE.- During the events that will take place during Women's Week in the city of Tecate, which is led by Mayor César Moreno González de Castilla, the City's Institute for Women (INMUJER in Spanish), developed a Violence Network Workshop in La Rumorosa area.

Violence is an act of power or intentional omission, either cyclical or recurrent destined to dominate, subject, control, abuse physically, verbally, emotionally or sexually abuse a family member or relative to which a person has been married or maintain a relationship with having as an outcome causing physical, psychological or sexual damage.

This was explained by Psychologist Krizia Gómez with the intention of sensitizing the rural population on the subject which is a very serious problem, she also explained the different

types of violence and ways of preventing them.

During the workshop, INMUJER's Director, Alma Gloria López Valenzuela was present, and congratulated the women who attend in spite of the weather, inviting them to keep participating throughout the weeks events.
