TIJUANA.- Actor Robert Redford visited Tijuana's Culture Center (CECUT) on the afternoon of last Saturday (June 16) while on break from filming movie "All Is Lost" directed by J.C. Chandor in the Baja Studios located in Popotla, Rosarito Beach.

An Oscar winner for best director, Redford will be in the region for the next three months and he will probably be easy to spot on some of Baja's favorite destinations.

Joined by his wife, German visual artist Sybille Szaggars, he watched the video complement of the "Pintura Revisitada" exposition by Baja California's painter Ángel Valrá, whose technique Redford praised.

The creator of the Sundance Film Festival has the leading role in "All Is Lost", movie that signals his return to sets since 2007. Besides acting in this motion picture, he has another one coming; "The Company You Keep" is in production at the moment, it's a political thriller Redford stars in as well as directs; there he will share the screen with Shia LaBeouf , Julie Christie and Sam Elliot.

It isn't the first time Robert is in town, though, he admitted to visiting Tijuana back when he was 15 years old to watch bullfighting shows.
