If you’re searching for an exciting summer adventure in San Diego, the Maritime Museum of San Diego is bringing back one of its most beloved and original attractions: BOARDED! A New Pirate Adventure, an immersive show set aboard an authentic 16th-century sailing ship.
A pirate adventure right in the bay
Over 90 minutes of action, audience members become part of the story—pledging loyalty to the crew, learning how to navigate, engaging in sword fights, bailing water from a sinking ship, breaking out of the king’s jail, and scrubbing the deck—with plenty of humor and theatrical flair.
The performance takes place on the historic San Salvador galleon, docked at the museum. While the sails won’t be raised during the show, the thrilling atmosphere and unique floating stage make this a memorable outing.

Tickets to BOARDED! also allow full access to explore the Maritime Museum’s historic fleet, including below decks, before or after the show.
