UNITED sTATES.– Over the last two decades, those devoted to the Republican party has fought long and hard to give their opponent, the Democrat party, a run for their money, with mixed results since 1994, when the Grand Old Party (GOP) enjoyed a political windfall during the midterm elections that awarded them with the Chamber of Representative and the Senate for a while.

In light of these events, many optimists declared "red" as the official color the future U.S Congress (the GOP's color is, well, red). Nevertheless a wave of disappointment struck the 'Republican Revolution' after the re-election of former President Bill Clinton in 1996, indicated that republicans would have to wait 4 years in order for them to take back the White House and dominate the American Government.

They did for a while, with the election of George W. Bush, (barely) and slim majorities in Congress, until 2006. And then…

The revolution came to a definite end when in 2008, current President Barack Obama was elected, leaving behind the administration of George W. Bush, on of the less popular commanders in chief in the history of the nation.

And so, the GOP turns to 2016 as its newest hope, but with a recent counting of 14 Republican candidates running for President in 2016, the last candidate to add himself to the list is New Jersey's Governor, Chris Christie, it might signal to the American people that the Republicans still can't figure out who they are or if they can govern (notwithstanding their return to power in Congress). And who can keep count of all these candidates? Wether you'll be voting for them or not, here is a list of all 14 candidates , as well as their positions and candidature announcement date:
