MEXICALI.- A week after the missing young woman at a hill called El Centinela, five more are missing and the Fire Department and rescue groups in Mexicali are looking for them after receiving a call from one of the five missing women.
On Saturday afternoon, Gabriel Gómez, head of the Heroic Fire Department in Mexicali, said he received a call from a woman who mentioned that she was stranded in La Salada along with four other women.
"… we were told by a woman who had a vehicle defect about 9.3 miles from the entrance of Pavarotti, and that they could not fix it …" he said. However, arriving at the address provided there was no trace of them or a vehicle.
For the moment the searching in the area continues and the call is being returned to the phone through which the woman communicated.
