Baja California closes the week in orange coloring of the epidemiological traffic light chart for COVID-19, but with at least 66 patients intubated because of this disease until October 1st.

According to what was presented by the Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, on September 30th there were 62 intubated patients in the region, but compared to September 1st when there were 95 patients in this condition, the state seems to be going down despite this small increase.

"As you can see we are going down. Today, yes, we are indeed increasing a little, but as we see here, the statistics are trending, and one day they are not trending. We will see how we behave, but the graph is quite clear: we are going down," said the Secretary of Health this Friday morning, October 2.

Thus, the pandemic continues in Baja California, where until today 342 active cases were registered, located mostly in the municipality of Mexicali, where 143 of this total are reported.

On the other hand, the accumulated positive cases total 19 thousand 565, while deaths rose to 3 thousand 558, but achieving at least the recovery of 11 thousand 730 patients so far.
