Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda invited high school and university students across the state interested in free school transportation to enroll in COMUNDER, reminding them that applications for the program will open on August 1.
“COMUNDER is one of our government’s initiatives to help young people continue pursuing their dreams. It offers free, safe, and efficient transportation that already operates in Mexicali, San Felipe, San Quintín, Tijuana, Tecate, and Ensenada from Maneadero to El Sauzal. It takes students to their schools and back to their communities,” the governor emphasized.

She highlighted that the program, managed by Juventud BC (the state’s youth institute), ensures that transportation costs do not become a barrier to education, especially for students from remote areas.
Juventud BC Director Francisco Molina underscored that, with Governor Marina del Pilar’s strong support, COMUNDER has expanded, now allocating over 59 million pesos to serve 33 routes, benefiting more than 3,000 students.

To qualify, applicants must be between 14 and 29 years old and be enrolled in a high school or university in Baja California.
Registration must be completed through the online platform by Wednesday, August 6.

Selected applicants will be announced on Friday, August 8, with results made available on Juventud BC (Facebook) and @Juventud.BC (Instagram), or by calling (686) 568-4115 or (686) 563-6934.
