Registration is now open for the 2025 Call for the Civil Society Organization Support Program, an initiative designed to bolster the work of groups providing aid and assistance to vulnerable populations, announced Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda.
“We are taking concrete steps to strengthen community development and support those who work tirelessly to improve the lives of Baja California’s most vulnerable residents. Their efforts deserve recognition and all possible support,” the governor said.
The eligibility requirements are to be registered in the 2025 State Catalog of Civil Society Organizations; demonstrate work that benefits women in vulnerable situations, children, teenagers, seniors, Indigenous communities, people with disabilities, or migrants; or a focus on areas such as education, health, sports, culture, community development, or addiction prevention.
Interested organizations have until July 21, 2025, to apply. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by a Selection Committee, which will choose projects that meet all established criteria, explained Secretary of Well-Being Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillán.

Approved projects may receive funding for equipment, facility rehabilitation, or maintenance; food assistance programs; training workshops or community services, among others. To be approved, meeting all requirements and submit the proper documentation is a must.
Furthermore, selected organizations must submit a progress report with evidence of impact, financial receipts and photographic documentation within 90 days of receiving funds.
