In turn, the state capital was the county that reported more new cases in 24 hours, these being a total of 50, as presented by Perez Rico.

Unfortunately, Mexicali also occupies the first place at state level with the highest number of deaths by COVID-19, with 2 thousand 884 as of this Friday, of which one thousand 340 were residents of this county.

Although the great impact of this virus is observed in Mexicali, the Secretary of Health indicated that Tijuana is the county with most active cases to date, even above Mexicali, since of the 530 active cases in Baja California, 182 are located in Tijuana.
