With the participation of over 150 companies, 27 embassies, and unprecedented international exposure, the International Agro-Industrial Forum (FIA) will be held from June 12 to June 14 at CEART Mexicali, Baja California—marking the first time the event takes place outside Mexico City.
Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda celebrated the arrival of this world-class event to northern Mexico, recognizing Baja California’s strategic role in national and global agroindustry, thanks to its border location, export capacity, and business dynamism.

“We are proud to host this important forum in our land. Baja California is the gateway to the agri-food world, and this will be a great opportunity to strengthen the value chain, attract investments, and showcase the talent of our producers,” the governor said.
The state is part of the Cali-Baja megaregion, one of the world’s most dynamic binational zones, integrating the economic, logistical, and innovative capabilities of Southern California and Northwestern Mexico. In this context, Baja California serves as a strategic hub for agro-industrial trade, acting as a bridge between Latin America, the United States, and the rest of the world.
FIA 2025 will feature a business center, six keynote conferences, eight trade and management seminars, an exhibition hall with over 150 national and international exhibitors, gastronomic showcases, live music performances, and diplomatic representatives fostering new export opportunities.

The event will also host authorities from Mexico City’s Central de Abastos and LA’s Grand Central Market who will visit Baja California to explore the state’s agri-food offerings and establish commercial ties.
As part of the forum, a collaboration agreement will be signed between the Mexican government and the state government to strengthen agro-industrial trade links and open new opportunities for regional producers.

The event will be organized by a technical committee composed of Baja California’s Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development and the State Cabinet Coordination, with support from the Secretariat of Fishing and Aquaculture, the Secretariat of Economy and Innovation, the Secretariat of Tourism, and Canacintra Mexicali, and it is being backed by Canacintra Nacional, the Mexican Federal Government, and Mexico City’s Central de Abastos.
Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda underscored that Baja California will continue working to be a national model for agro-industrial innovation, promoting sustainable development, cross-sector collaboration, and the global projection of local agricultural products.
