Baja California will host the 2027 National Congress on Public Innovation NovaGob, bringing together public-sector specialists, government officials, digital leaders and innovators from across Mexico.

The announcement was made during the 2026 NovaGob Public Innovation Awards ceremony in Guadalajara, Jalisco, where initiatives focused on strengthening institutional capabilities, creating public value and addressing complex problems through innovation were recognized.

Gabriel Palombo, director general of the Baja California Digital Agency, said the event will bring talent, technology and new ideas to the state as participants exchange projects focused on transforming public administration. He also highlighted that the goal is building governments that are more efficient, transparent and responsive to citizens’ needs.
