BAJA CALIFORNIA.- This weekend, Mexico's annual National Youth Olympics took place in Nuevo León 2017 and concluded, and the young people of Baja California managed to position themselves among the very top places out of all 32 states.



According to the general medal chart of the National Youth Olympics, Baja California ranked second with 64 gold medals, 45 silver, and 53 bronze.

El Horizonte said that the closing of the 22nd edition of this Olympic competition was contemplated with a showy array of pyrotechnic lights, and that about 35 delegations participated in this competition with more than 30 sports.
