The international chef Anthony Bourdain doesn't waste any opportunity he has to invite the world to known the gastronomy of Baja California.

On a recent interview with USA Weekend, the presenter of the TV Show "No Reservations" talked a little bit about the eighth season of the program at the Travel Channel where he will show his visit to Baja at the start of this year.

"There is an incredible culinary scene happening over there in a time where the industry of tourism has been devastated" he declared to the media.

"I was impressed with the do-it-yourself attitude of the chefs, they are cooking and innovating as they can for the Mexican customers, parts of Baja, Mexico are starting to remind me of Tuscany" he added.

Next to Baja, the eighth season of the show that has won the Emmy, will feature other places of the world as Finland, Portugal, Malaysia and the Croatia.

The day for the broadcasting of the episode that will show the border state trough spots as the seafood of Ensenada and the BajaMed cuisine in Tijuana isn't set yet.

The TV Show is broadcasted in Mexico on the channel Discovery Travel and Living.
