TIJUANA.- With the purpose of joining efforts between the Government and the private initiative that promotes planning, creation, instrumentation and follow ups to programs and actions regarding housing and land tenure regularization, which will provide development opportunities and well-being to the families of Baja, as well as creating jobs, today, Baja Governor Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid, alongside the members of the Housing State Board, were sworn in.

During the ceremony that took place at Centro Estatal de las Artes, Vega de Lamadrid pointed out that these actions go alongside the Employment Crusade for Economical Growth (CRECEBC), given that it contributes to a investment and employment generation, that at the same time responds to a request by the National Chamber of Industry Development and Promotion of Housing (CANADEVI), where the council will become an advisory agency of the state's administration and the coordinating body of the private and public sectors.

Governor Vega indicated that among the actions that they will develop there is soil and housing promotion in order to provide the same opportunities for underprivileged families, as wells tending the matter of abandoned houses and encoring the proper growth of the city.

"Baja California is an entity that prioritizes its infrastructure making it an economical, social, productive, competitive and sustainable development detonator, that guaranties the well being of present and future generations of the region; this Government maintains its commitment to widen access opportunities for a dignified and sustainable property.

On his behalf, State Secretary of Infrastructure and Urban Development (SIDUE), Manuel Guevara Morales, mentioned that with the formal start of the council's activities, important tasks and challenges are to come, and this will translate into benefits for Baja's citizens, he also added the their work agent will include concepts that will analyze high-density development, vertical hosting, development polygons, land tenure regularization, land management and soil usage.

In the same matter, State President of CANAVEDI, Mario Arreola Real, backed up the council's launch in order for them to create positive results and set short term goals, which will benefit the housing sector.
