The other day, while I was walking around Plaza Fiesta in Tijuana, I stopped by Sotano Suizo to try out one of their excellent beers, finding there also master brewer Demian Bosiger, who recommended I try the just recently released Horchata Porter. I was pleasantly surprised. Horchata is a traditional Mexican drink, served cold, made mostly of cinnamon and rice.
This is the type of beer you would usually drink during the winter, but, the horchata gives it a completely different twist bringing with it a big punch of freshness while maintaining all the elements of a porter with vanilla and the flavor of the traditional horchata. This is my recommendation this week. Make sure you get it while supplies last!
