There's a warming trend on its way to the region, with temperatures into the high 70s by Sunday afternoon and well into the 80s by next week. So, with that in mind, I'll be recommending Monastika Brewery's , La Libertina. It's a Belgian Blonde Ale I had the pleasure of trying on Thursday night at the BeerBox Tijuana, the perfect beer to start the weekend (or, the pre-weekend)
First of all, I loved the beer's color. Just seeing it captivated me. Its very distinctive honey, spices, bread and citric fruits and flower smell. Its characteristic malty taste also is present, added to its not to intense hops flavor. A festive beer that wouldn't taste bad matched with not to greasy food or some fries.
