One of the greatest surprises of the past Expo Cerveza Artesanal definitely was the Peanut Butter Stout by Muñeca Prieta (translation: Dark Doll). This beer is almost like a dessert because of its sweetness, yet as addictive as peanut better and with all the richness of a stout beer.

Dark and opaque in color, with a rich brown colored head, the Peanut Butter Stout by Muñeca Prieta has a delicious peanut smell throughout and hints of chocolate aftertaste. With a rich body and medium carbonation, at times it tastes like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup mixed with a stout likely aged in a Bourbon barrel.

I am not sure of the alcohol content, but I am sure it is not as high as its flavor makes it appears and highly recommended. It is so good you will probably drink it slow so that it lasts longer, and it is the perfect pairing while sitting down to watch your favorite TV show. You can find Muñeca Prieta brand beers at BCB Tasting Room, Verde y Crema, Baja Artesanal, Taikishi and La Diferencia.
