What happens when you mix Tijuana's love for street tacos with its demand for innovative gourmet cuisine, and add a bit of Baja's great supply of seafood?

"Tacos Kokopelli" that's what.

The indisputable champion of urban food for 2013 (food from street vendors, leaving aside the euphemisms), who not only were the public's favorite when voting, but were also present in every important culinary event in the state, and abroad even, delighting patrons with their original recipes and experiments, like offering-up a plate of grasshopper tacos and servings of pulque salsa, establishing themselves as an authentic addition to "Baja-Med" cuisine.

Kraken, the house special

Congratulations to Chef Guillermo Campos Moreno, his brother Pablo Campos and to the entire "Kokopelli" team, real urban cuisine in Baja California.
