
In San Felipe, the Secretary met with representatives from the tourism value chain to discuss strategies for stimulating growth and positioning the fishing port as a key destination in the region. During his visit, he presented Kamilia Fishing with a Productive and Sustainable Inclusion Aid package, which will enable the business to acquire kayaking equipment. This investment will strengthen operations, improve service quality, build trust, and enhance visitors’ experiences.

In San Quintín, tourism stakeholders committed to adhering to the National Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Teenagers in the Travel and Tourism Industry, reaffirming Baja California’s dedication to promoting responsible and safe tourism. Additionally, two National Tourism Registrations and two Productive and Sustainable Inclusion Aid packages were awarded to tourism service providers, further supporting formal employment and improving the region’s tourism offerings.

During this visit, Aguíñiga Rodríguez also met with the Mayors of San Quintín, Miriam Cano Núñez, and San Felipe, José Luis Dangino López. They discussed key strategies to strengthen the tourism industry in both areas.

These actions are part of the Secretariat of Tourism’s broader efforts to establish Baja California as a premier, competitive, diverse destination committed to equitable and sustainable development.
