Brewery Media Perra is located in the Guadalupe Valley, Ensenada, and it has been nominated in the 2017 Edition of Building of the Year in the category of "Industrial Architecture."



This is a building inspired by the art of origami, and idea that went from paper to an amazing metallic structure, which is located in one of the most representative wineries area of Mexico.

As a contrast of the area, this building houses Brewery Media Perra, a brand that has added great popularity to the State Brewing Industry, in which Ensenada has a great advantage.

Surrounded by the mountainous landscapes of the Guadalupe Valley, this building preserves the traditional and dynamic essence of beer, the identity of Media Perra, whose walls rise to create volume between reflections and shadows.

The building is oriented to conserve the natural resources that are scarce in the Mediterranean area of the Guadalupe Valley, which climatic conditions can be extreme.



Even the brewery's roof helps catch rainwater, and natural lighting is preserved through recycled plastic bottles.

The architect of the project, Jose Antonio de los Santos Bolivar, is enthusiastic about the nomination. The voting ends in a lapse of two weeks.
