Business Alliance for Mexicali’s Security Reactivated

Jonathan Díaz Castro was appointed the new president of the "Business Alliance for Mexicali's Security" Board.

The newly appointed president of the “Business Alliance for Mexicali’s Security” board, Jonathan Díaz Castro, reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaboration between the government and the private industry to improve public security conditions in the city, as well as reactivating the alliance.

Joining Díaz Castro as board members are Luis Romo Ortíz as Technical Secretary; Rosa Isela Ibarra Caldera as Treasurer; and Rocío Villanueva Romero, Ernesto García Manjarrez, Alejandro Vázquez Valadez, Antonio De Anda Romo, Judith Méndez León, and Alejandro Meza Jiménez as Council Members.

The extraordinary session to reactivate the alliance was led by Rodrigo Llantada, Secretary of the City Hall, representing Mayor Norma Alicia Bustamante Martínez of Mexicali. Also in attendance were Lt. Col. Julián Leyzaola, Municipal Public Security Director; Oscar Vega Marín, Municipal Attorney; and Councilor Yeni Olua, Chair of the Public Safety Commission, among others.

During the session, María Elena Díaz Flemate was unanimously approved as the new director of the “Business Alliance for Mexicali’s Security”.
