With recent immigration raids in California, the undocumented community in the U.S. is fearful of even leaving their homes, worried they might encounter immigration agents who could detain them.
As such, a California-based organization has stepped in to deliver food and essential supplies to families who cannot leave their homes.
Food Deliveries for Undocumented Families in California Who Can’t Leave Home
Through its Instagram account, Raíces con Voz Public Health announced a food and essential goods delivery service for migrant and undocumented families who are unable or too afraid to leave their homes.

They emphasized that the deliveries are confidential, meaning applicants do not need to provide personal information to receive assistance.
For several days now, the organization has been distributing food packages to families, even including a letter of encouragement to show their full support for undocumented individuals amid the current situation in the United States.
In addition to these deliveries, they have put out a call for donations to continue aiding the migrant community.
They also announced a collaboration between Raíces con Voz and Cocina 710 to distribute hot meals and care packages for the community in Compton and nearby areas this Saturday, June 14, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
