TIJUANA.- Through social media the nongovernmental foundation, "Fundación por la paz" (Foundation for peace), makes a call to all Tijuana's citizens that invites to avoid crossing to the United States for a few hours this February 5th as a sign of protest towards actions and decisions made by president Donald Trump.
This movement that has been called #UnasHorasPorMexico (#AFewHoursForMexico) suggests not to cross the border this Sunday February 5th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm in order to avoid working, shopping and visiting family and friends in the United States.
The picture shown in social media has quotes that invite to "ask for permission at your work" and to "call your relatives and dedicate a few hours to Mexico" with the purpose of getting more people to join this movement.
In other hand, several posts on social media have been made in the past few days that suggest not to cross the border and to avoid shopping in the United States during the entire day.
