Tijuana .- Carlos Bustamante Anchondo, Municipal President of Tijuana, met with California Senator, Lou Correa, whom which he has established a good friendship, to exchange experiences and impressions about the problems that affect both Tijuana and San Diego.



Bustamante Anchondo recognized the importance of a relationship between both cities governments, and the need to work together to find solutions that favor the region; and most of all, improve the quality of life for it's citizens.

California senator, Lou Correa, explained he's on a work tour in Baja California – along with a delegation of American government employees – with the purpose of getting to know in detail the problems that afflict this side of the border, such as deportation of immigrants to Tijuana, and the delays of crossing over into the United states.



He highlighted that it's important to promote the relationship between Tijuana-California, and to work in coordination to find tools that lessen the conflicts generated by these types of problems that afflict citizens on both sides of the border.



Those who were present in the meeting where Director of Binacional Affairs, Alfonso Bustamante Anchondo; Republican assembly members, Rocky Chavez and Travis Allen; As well as the border affairs adviser from the United States Senate, Paul Sommerhausen, Among Others.
