U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the San Ysidro port of entry intercepted a significant drug shipment: 30 pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside bags of dog food.
Sidney Aki, Director of Field Operations for CBP’s San Diego Field Office, stated on X that traffickers will try anything, “even blaming their pets“.

“Our @cbp officers are trained to see through all concealment strategies. Big thanks to our #SanDiegoFieldOffice frontline for protecting our communities one inspection at a time,” Sidney Aki said.
