The local radio stations La Nueva 106.5 and Recuerdo 102.9; both part of Univision Radio have been organizing the patriotic celebrations for 15 years now. They offer concerts and the traditional shout of independence conducted by the Mexican consulate in San Diego.

On the official Mexican consulate web page you'll find so the Mexican people in San Diego can join them in giving the independence shout.
The event is being hosted in the Embarcadero behind the Convention Center in downtown; it is completely free to the public. It will get under way at 12:00 noon and conclude at 6:00PM.
People who assist this free event will be able to enjoy live music from Larry Hernandez, Horoscopos de Durango, Los Elegidos, Mariachi Divas, Explosion Norteña, and of course the traditional independence shout.
