After Julio César Chávez Jr. tested positive for Marijuana in an exam performed after his fight with Sergio "Maravilla" Martínez, experts say his fault could cost him a three million dollars fine and the suspension of his boxing license for a year.

This weekend Keith Kizer, Executive Director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, will make the official announcement after he receives the analysis' results.

This is the second time Chávez Jr. has been involved in a similar situation. Back in 2009, after his fight against Troy Rowland, he also tested positive for illegal substances due to a diuretic; back then he was fined $10,000 and suspended for seven months.

Top Rank promoter, Bob Arum, confirmed the news yesterday afternoon saying that only shows Chávez's immaturity.
