As the holiday season approaches, Tijuana prepares for the return of its beloved Christmas attraction. The “Christmas Dream Experience,” now celebrating its fifth anniversary, will open to the public on Thursday, November 20, offering residents a festive destination without crossing the border.
The announcement was made during a press conference featuring key organizers: Raúl Islas Tovar from the Tijuana Tourism and Conventions Committee, Rocío Herrera, CEO of Christmas Dream Experience, and Karla Madrid, Academic Director of St. Andrew School, which hosts the event.

The holiday village originated during the pandemic as a response to local residents preferring to travel to San Diego for Christmas attractions. With the goal of bringing joy during the difficult times many faced in 2020, Rocío Herrera decided to bring a similar concept to Tijuana.
Tickets are available at the ticket booth and through electronic transfer via the event’s official websites.

Christmas Dream Experience Hours & Prices
The attraction will operate Monday through Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. through the holiday season. Ticket prices are set at $150 pesos ($8 USD) Monday through Thursday, and $200 pesos ($11 USD) Friday through Sunday. Children under 3 enter free, and seniors receive a 50% discount.

Beyond the traditional Mexican holiday treats (pozole, tamales, and champurrado), the village features over 47 themed Christmas settings perfect for family photos and creating lasting memories.
The venue can accommodate up to 400 visitors at a time and will host special community programs, including free admission for local shelters and a Christmas Day package featuring gift distribution by Santa Claus.

A highlight of the experience remains the simulated snowfall that occurs every ninety minutes, creating a magical winter atmosphere in the border city.
