The holiday season is underway in Chula Vista with the return of the Dazzling Holiday Light Show & Snowfall, one of the region’s most eye-catching free events. Village Walk at EastLake has launched its 2025 holiday schedule, featuring falling snow, music, photos with Santa, kids’ activities and live performances throughout December.
Holiday Light Show Continues Through December 21
The nightly show, which debuted on November 30, now runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December 21, with performances at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Each presentation features choreographed music, dancing lights and snowfall over the plaza. Children also receive Magic Glasses that add special colors and effects to the display.
Santa Arrives on the Holiday Express Train – December 6
On Saturday, December 6, from noon to 3:00 p.m., families can meet Santa as he arrives aboard the Holiday Express Train. Visitors can take free photos with Santa using their own phones or cameras, enjoy complimentary train rides, and take part in free holiday crafts for kids twelve and under. Santa’s elves will also hand out seasonal activity sheets and booklets.
Photos with Frosty – December 7
On Sunday, December 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., guests can stop by the Life-Size Photo Frame for a holiday card-worthy photo with Frosty. Professional photographers will use visitors’ phones to capture the shots. Afterward, families can stay for the evening light shows at 6 and 7 p.m.
The Holiday Arch, located at the entrance to the bridge next to the Koi Pond, will also remain available throughout the season as a festive photo backdrop.

Local choirs will perform throughout the center between the 6 and 7 p.m. shows. The lineup includes:
