Capufe has outlined specific detour routes for travelers:

Motorists heading north to Tijuana will be redirected to the parallel free road at the Ensenada Toll Plaza (San Miguelito).

Those traveling south to Ensenada will be detoured at kilometer 66 (Alisitos) onto the free road.

Authorities are urging drivers to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed when approaching the detour zones, and follow all posted signage.
