The rumor we all knew to be true was made official today; Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuitles "Group Tijuana" which is lead by Jorgealberto Hank Inzuza has bought the majority shares from second division soccer team Dorados de Sinaloa.
Through a Facebook post the Sinaloa team confirmed the sell, but also guaranteed that the team will remain where they are and not suffer from the change of venue like some teams inside Mexican soccer are doing at the moment.
"Club Dorados de Sinaloa makes the official announcement that of Group Tijuana's majority share participation.
Together we will look to grow our social and sporting ambitions in our state.
On top of its values the Sinaloa team continues with its main objective which is to win promotion into the Liga MX; as well as to be an important social part in the region representing the Sinaloa state with pride and dignity."
Mexican Soccer Federation (FMF) announced on Monday that Club Tijuana bought 60% of the shares of Dorados de Sinaloa.
