Sweet bread, wine and other dishes will be ready for you to enjoy this Saturday August 13th at Cocinarte 2016, one of the main celebrations in Tecate, which exhibits the cuisine and local art. The tourist train will be ready so attendees have a really fun way of getting there.

An exhibit of 12 hours will be assembled at Plaza de las Artes del CEART starting at 10:00 am, all set to share flavors and "Pueblo Magico" (as Tecate is known) sensations. There will be 45 restaurants and wine & cheese tasting, which distinguish this city as the North entrance of the Wine Route.

Cocinarte is one of the few events that has an special space for Kumiai and Paipai population, who, besides promoting their traditional food, also participate in the artisan pavillion.



The entrance is FREE, but if you want to experience something more magical, then you can take the train in Garcia Station, the ticket is around $25.00 dlls and includes wine/food tasting. More information here
