COPARMEX Tijuana to Host Major Education Fair for High School Students

COPARMEX Tijuana’s Educational Expo Fair returns with over 25 participating universities, offering students a chance to shape their future.

More than 6,000 local high school students are expected to attend the second annual Educational Expo Fair, organized by COPARMEX Tijuana, on September 30 and October 1 at Toros Mobil Park stadium. The event aims to connect young learners with higher education opportunities and support their academic and professional futures.

Over 25 leading universities and educational institutions from the region will participate, showcasing a wide range of academic programs and specialized training. Attendees will have the chance to explore options and speak directly with representatives from schools such as UNID, UNEA, CESUN, CENYCA, UTT, CUT, CETYS, UABC, Escuela Normal Fronteriza, Universidad de las Californias, and Culinary Art School.

Roberto Vega Solís, President of COPARMEX Tijuana, emphasized the critical role of education as an essential tool for social and economic development, which is why this event aims to guide and motivate young people to choose their best academic path.

The event will also feature vocational workshops and guidance talks to help students make informed decisions about their academic futures.

Kurt Honold Morales, Baja California’s Secretary of Economy and Innovation, echoed these sentiments, noting that human capital is the state’s greatest asset and that this type of events are essential for creating opportunities and fostering social mobility.

Giovanna Bazán, President of COPARMEX’s Young Entrepreneurs Commission, added that the goal is to make the Expo a recurring platform where youth can discover pathways to success.

Adrián Flores Ledezma, President of COPARMEX’s Education Commission, confirmed that the fair will be open to the general public and run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both days.
