In the COVID-19 cases update, this Tuesday, September 2, the Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico presented that among the groups vulnerable to coronavirus are young adults between 30 and 34 years old, being the second age group with more confirmed cases after totaling 2 thousand and 90 of the 17 thousand and 49 positive cases in the region.

While adults over the age of 65 who have tested positive for COVID-19 are 2 thousand 467, which is the most affected group, said Perez Rico.

"Vulnerable groups between 30 and 34 years old are getting sick because we have high rates of obesity, overweight, smoking and hypertension; and older adults just because they are older," said the Secretary of Health.

In addition to this total of confirmed cases, Baja California registers 3 thousand 164 deaths, 50% of which are adults over 60 years old.
