For the second year in a row, the Summer Food & Beer Fest will take place at the Calafia Plaza de Toros on Saturday, June 7. The news was shared by Ismael Castro, director of FEX Mexicali, in a recent press conference.
Castro noted that this festival reflects the vision of Mayor Norma Bustamante, who is focused on building partnerships with local entrepreneurs.

“We’re working hand in hand with local entrepreneurs to bring this celebration to the people of Mexicali. It’s also a way to mark the 50th anniversary of our bullring,” he said.
The event will feature multiple themed stages, live music, and a wide variety of food options. A new addition this year is the Copa Cervecera, a competition that will feature around 23 craft breweries, with prizes awarded to the top three beers.

Tickets are available at a presale price of 270 pesos, while VIP passes are priced at 980 pesos. They can be purchased at https://ticketnauta.com/en-US or at several partner locations.
Also joining the press conference were Armando Tapia, organizer of the Copa Cervecera; Kenia Vidal from Chicali Brewers; Alan Valenzuela, president of CANIRAC Mexicali; and Emmanuel González of Pericolectiver.
