When will this beautiful Christmas event take place? It will take place on December 2nd and 3rd, 2022. San Diego will begin its seasonal Christmas celebrations with the biggest (and free) festival of the city. On Friday, December 2, celebrations begin at 3 PM and will end at 11 PM.
On Saturday, December 3, activities will begin earlier, as it will be open from 11 AM to 11 PM.
Are you planning on going? Then, there are some important things you must consider: first of all, though there is parking at Balboa Park, and there are a lot of parking lots, it tends to get filled up very quickly, especially for the free parking lots.
Something else to consider is to bring a jacket and comfortable shoes, as you will want to tour the whole park, an adventure all by itself, as it is quite big.
