Nestled just a short drive from downtown Los Angeles, Descanso Gardens is offering visitors a vibrant escape into nature this spring. The botanical garden, spanning around 150 acres of cultivated and wild land within a natural mountain basin, has transformed into a colorful paradise featuring more than 35,000 tulips.
The spectacular floral display has become one of Southern California’s most anticipated seasonal attractions.
Visitors wandering through the grounds will encounter winding trails that meander through lush forests, themed garden collections, and areas dedicated to native California plants. The gardens also provide numerous opportunities for quiet contemplation and photography.
Hours
Descanso Gardens welcomes guests daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering ample daylight hours to explore the extensive grounds.
