Design Sundays at CECUT

Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT) through its exhibit Direction has created 'Design Sundays', a platform to launch local designers who create original and quality products in the region. With no cost for exhibitors, here you will find a previous selection that invites all designers to show off their talent and creativity with high quality products.



MILES & LOUIE



Created by brothers Octavio and Carlos Martínez, they specialize in the manufacture of leather articles and shoes.

Skin care products made out of 100% Mexican products, paraben, sulphate, petrolatum and synthetic free.

JAIME MURO



A local designer who brings along his most recent collection: Pink Flamingos.

NADIN PRATA



Jewelry brand that creates handcrafted pieces combining metals and stones.

GRAYMASS



A city brand that experiments with the figures, textures and colors of concrete being used as prime matter to create different products.

RBMZ



Wooden based furniture which are functional and modern with just a touch of minimalism.

MISS MUSHROOM



Hand knitted toys and articles, the details in their products is amazing.

ZUÑIGA & CO



Hand made note books created in Tijuana. ZUÑIGA & CO's note books are made from recycled paper, sowed by hand and wrapped with paper that Mayuko Zuñiga screen prints.

Hand made ceramic objects that come with a great variety of original mugs.

KINVIT



A creative studio thats specializes in engraving objects as well as laser cutting, producing wooden pieces for interior design.

High quality jewelry and accessories with a urban and contemporary style, handy crafted by Ada Disbau.

The purpose of this event is that public in general as a closer reach to this kind of product, launching independent design in the region. The intention also relays on people visiting the museum and everything El Cubo has to offer (exhibits, workshops, events).



This event ran throughout the 4 Sundays of the month of March outside El Cubo's forecourt.

Design Sundays is a seasonal event that is currently working on its fourth editions which will take place during the summer. Admission is free and aside from the designers, there will be food and beverages from local businesses as well as music from local talents.
