Playas de Rosarito is set to host the 11th edition of Expo TlaquepArte, Mexico’s premier artisan fair. The event will take place at the Baja California Center from Friday, September 12, to Tuesday, September 16, offering five days of exhibitions where visitors can discover and purchase crafts from national and international artisans.
Over 200 Artisans from Mexico and Around the World
Expo TlaquepArte brings together more than 200 artisans showcasing a wide range of products, including jewelry, textiles, home decor, cosmetics, and more. Mexican artisans will highlight the country’s rich cultural heritage through their work, featuring renowned crafts like Mata Ortiz pottery from Chihuahua, Olinalá trays andboxes from Guerrero, Taxco silver, Puebla Talavera pottery, and traditional garments from Jalisco. Craftspeople from over 25 Mexican states will participate, including talented artisans from Baja California.
The event also features 16 countries from Latin America and beyond, including Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Turkey, Russia, Greece, and India. Visitors will find exotic wood from Cuba, Peruvian paintings, Turkish jewelry, Indian textiles, and Egyptian crafts, all in one place.
