The Christmas decorations may have just been stored away, but Disneyland California is already looking more than two years into the future, setting plans for its highly anticipated 2026 holiday season.
According to park schedules, the winter 2026-2027 program will officially begin on November 18, 2026, and run through early January 2027 at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The holiday season has become one of the resort’s most popular and busiest times of the year.

While full details are still under wraps, Disneyland has confirmed the return of core festive offerings. Guests can expect the parks to be decked out in elaborate decorations, feature special live shows, and offer an array of seasonal foods. Disney California Adventure will once again host its Disney Festival of Holidays.
The programming follows a beloved, established tradition. Disneyland Park’s lineup is set to feature the classic “A Christmas Fantasy” parade and the spectacular “Believe in Holiday Magic” fireworks show.

Meanwhile, Disney California Adventure will energize visitors with its vibrant Viva Navidad Street Party, along with popular character celebrations like “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” from Encanto and the “A Musical Christmas” celebration inspired by Coco.
In addition, the Fantasyland Theatre typically hosts holiday craft workshops and sing-alongs, while Downtown Disney District offers live music and nightly “snowfall” on the stage near the Parkside Market.

One of the few elements that sees a refresh each year are the special costumes for Mickey, Minnie, and their friends, particularly during character dining events at Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Based on the resort’s recent scheduling patterns, the holiday season typically concludes on the first Sunday of January, unless it falls in the first five days of the new year. Projections indicate the 2026-27 holiday season will likely wrap up on Wednesday, January 6, 2027.
