This event will take place in "Salon Tilly's de Tijuana" on September 29th at 8:00 pm. Charlie Chavez y su Afrotruko will be the star of the night, so the audience can have a great time while the music is played with grace.

Charlie Chavez y su Afrotruko is from Oaxaca, Mexico, and has shared stage with great artists, such as Lila Downs and La Maldita Vecindad. The special guest will be Esteban Favela, one of jazz pioneers in Tijuana and founder of Los Travelers; nowadays he's helping direct Banda Municipal.
This concert is promoted by Fundacion Esperanza de Mexico (Hope Foundation of Mexico) with the objective of raising funds to continue with their honest labour. The money raised will be used to buy all kinds of materials to support families with limited means and help them construct a decent home through their community and self-construction program.
This foundation has 26 years of experience, and they have built more than 940 houses and 30 multi-use rooms.
