San Diego’s sky will light up Thursday evening with a special drone show celebrating the opening of the San Diego Zoo’s Elephant Valley.
The 12-minute aerial presentation is set to take place at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26. Organizers say the event aims to bring the community together to highlight the newly unveiled Denny Sanford Elephant Valley, a habitat designed to expand the park’s elephant care and conservation efforts.

Spectators can expect to see scenes of elephants roaming, playing at watering holes, and other imagery inspired by the African savanna.
As the show coincides with San Diego Padres Opening Day, the zoo is encouraging those near Petco Park to stay in the area.
