Rescuers of the Firefighter Department were able to successfully rescue the man who had fallen into a ditch of the elevated viaduct in Colonia Alemán in Avenida Internacional which is currently being repaired.
The man was driving a vehicle and was apparently drunk when he fell into this ditch, which is why, the Firefighter Department had to carry out stabilization maneuvers to get the vehicle out and rescue him.
Once rescue work was successfully carried out, the Red Cross transferred the man to their facilities so he could receive medical care.
