Mexico.- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 was recorded today in the Richter scale, that shook the state of Sinaloa that’s also located along the Gulf of California in the northwest part of the country, informed the U.S Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake was recorded at 23.26 hours local time (06.26 GMT), and there has not been reports of any victims or damages at the moment.

The epicenter was detected 9.9 kilometers from the earth surface in the area, and was felt 73 kilometers away from the city of Topolobampo, which is a port city in the Gulf of California 92 kilometers north of Los Mochis, both cities located in the northern state of Sinaloa.
