MEXICALI.- The State Government will launch sustainable economic opportunities to benefit the different sectors of the population, this is why a set of projects, incentives and support to entrepreneurs of all levels has been given, as a way to transform them into economy detonators and employment generators, according to Baja's Employment Crusade and Economical Growth (CRECEBC in Spanish) purpose, which was made public by State Governor Francisco "Kiko" Vega de Lamadrid.

Regarding the subject, State Secretary of Economical Development, Carlo Bonfante Olache, explained that among the benefits that will be provided there will be a tax exemption of a 100% ]regarding the compensation of personal work to those who are exclusively dedicated to agricultural, farming, fishing or forestry activities, as well as a 70% tax exempt to anyone who exports their own products.

In the matter of public services, a tax exemption up to 60% regarding payment of excise taxes for domestic and commercial water, connection and sewerage in urban areas of Ensenada will be given; as well as a 60% tax exemption regarding payment of excise taxes for untreated water in the farming sector and milk production in Tijuana's urban areas.

Furthermore, an 12% discount to annual payment and a 7.5% every six months for down payments in water usage will be added; seniors in state of poverty, widows over 50 years old, handicapped, pensioned and retired people living in Tijuana, Rosarito Beach, Tecate, Mexicali and Ensenada, will not pay for water services if they don't exceed 25 m3.

Also, Bonfante Olache stated that tax exemption will reduced up to a 75% according to Baja California's Income Law fiscal period of 2015, generating services that are provided by the Real Estate of Public and Trade Registry, due to the registration of licensing powers, and private and public documents which are constituted by civil societies.

He pointed out that said incentives will reinstate the commitments of the current state administration purpose of working hand in hand with the population in order to design strategies that will maintain the state among the prime generations of employment.

Lastly, he put his thrust in the work of all the productive sectors, given that in order to transform Baja a joined effort from each and every one of the state's residents is needed, which is why he committed to continue with the creation of opportunities that raise the necessary means for a solid and developed economy.
