MEXICO.- At 4 o'clock this afternoon (6 pm in the center of Mexico), Andrés Manuel López Obrador lead a press conference accompanied by the leaders of the PRD, PT and Citizen Movement where he declared that he would challenge the presidential elections if the official counting to be performed next July 04 is not transparent.

López Obrador spoke about the irregularities that arose during the elections and the competition at large, he highlighted the buying of votes and the support Enrique Peña Nieto had from the media.

He stated that, according data from his team, he received around 16 millions of votes and that several reports had been filed to which the Attorney's Office Specialized in Dealing with Electoral Offenses (FEPADE in Spanish) didn't follow through.

When being questioned about the youth movement "Yo soy 132" (I am 132) he expressed that they were remarkable beings to be fighting for their right to information, something that did not exist in the country and he added that it was a nonpartisan movement that had no relation to the party López Obrador represents.

The leftwing candidate stated that they would act with legality and that, in due time, they would present all of the evidence he had mentioned.

Some of the attending journalists asked him about the agreement he signed before the Election Day in relation to respecting the results to which he replied that the process had been too dirty as well as reiterating the commitment he had to the people who voted for him.

At this moment the Federal Institute of Elections in Mexico has counted more than 96% of the voting ballots with their Speed Counting system, Enrique Peña Nieto is still on the lead with 38.08% of the votes and Andrés Manuel López Obrador follows with 31.68 %
